DuraCat spinning rods
DuraCat — Power for Giants, with Unmatchable Sensitivity and Lightness
The DuraCat series brings the uncompromising philosophy of the Dura family into the world of catfish fishing.
Each blank is crafted from a precise blend of carbon and fiberglass — using different modulus, thicknesses, and properties strategically across the rod. This creates the perfect harmony of raw lifting power, sensitivity, flexibility, and lightness — everything you need when facing the biggest freshwater predators.
Some DuraCat models can deadlift 20–30 kg with ease — making them practically unbreakable under normal fishing use.
Positioned in the medium to medium-high price range, the DuraCat rods deliver truly high-end performance without unnecessary extras. Outfitted with Fuji Alconite guides in stainless-steel frames, they excel under extreme pressure: dissipating the heat and friction caused by braided lines during long, brutal fights with monster catfish.
Every rod in the series is unique, designed with purpose:
Long rods for power and reach
Shorter rods for leverage and control
Spinning and casting models for every catfishing method
The DuraCat rods are not just another addition — they stand on their own, built for anglers who demand giant power with unmatched sensitivity and lightness, and absolute reliability when it matters most.
DuraCat — Born for catfish. Built to conquer.
