KayaCat 275 – The Ultimate Inflatable Fishing Kayak

Inspired by the freedom of inflatable kayaks but frustrated by their limitations, we designed something completely new: a fishing kayak that combines portability, stability, durability, and comfort without compromise.

The KayaCat 275 is built from 1.2 mm heavy-duty PVC (currently the heaviest and thickest material on the market – most inflatables are made of 0.55, 0.7, or at best 0.9 mm; this is the maximum any manufacturer can use). Unlike most inflatables that are glued, the KayaCat 275 is fully welded—the most expensive, highest-quality, and longest-lasting construction method. Just like our larger inflatable boats, it’s built to last a lifetime.

At 110 cm wide with 30 cm diameter tubes, reinforced by a true keel, it delivers insane stability and perfect straight-line tracking—even if you’re paddling unevenly. After countless prototypes, we’ve found the ideal size: 275 cm (9 ft). Big enough for fishing comfort, compact enough for easy transport.

We also solved the biggest problem with fishing kayaks: the chair. Instead of flimsy straps and velcro, we engineered a solid aluminum-framed mount with a premium waterproof boat chair. The result is 100% back support, ergonomic comfort, and durability.

The KayaCat 275 normally comes with a high-pressure, one-bar air floor – extremely stiff, reliable, and perfect for fishing. It already allows you to stand up and fish comfortably with full stability.

For anglers who want even more comfort and rock-solid footing, a wooden floor option will soon be available. This upgrade gives extra stability, especially for those who like to stand and cast with confidence.
